Love Unchained: Breaking Free from a 28-Year Wound - Episode 7
Love can lift you to the heights of life, or it can bury you in the deepest pit. For 28 years, I was trapped in the darkness of a wound disguised as love—a wound I hid, a wound I lied about, a wound I believed defined me. Until one question changed everything. Here’s my journey from guilt and self-blame to the freedom of a love that truly heals.
In this episode, we confront love’s incredible power to build or to break. For 28 years, I carried a wound that started the night before my daughter, Kelsey, passed away—a wound rooted in guilt, regret, and the unfinished goodbye I never got to give her. That single moment became a pit that consumed my life, driving me deeper into self-blame and darkness. I felt unworthy of love, letting it sabotage every relationship, every chance at happiness.
But a simple question from someone who cared stopped me in my tracks: What is God saying to you? That question became the turning point. For the first time, I allowed myself to listen, and I heard God’s voice leading me out of the shadows. I learned that His love was greater than my guilt, deeper than my shame, and strong enough to pull me back to life. In this episode, I share my journey from pain to freedom and the love that finally set me free.
